What to do if a lung blister ruptures

Treatment options for ruptured pulmonary herpes include emergency treatment and surgery.
1. Emergency treatment: if the rupture of pulmonary herpes causes pneumothorax, which leads to respiratory distress or other critical conditions, patients need to be treated with oxygen, thoracentesis and closed chest drainage.
2. Surgical treatment: asymptomatic pulmonary herpes generally do not need special treatment, if pulmonary herpes rupture causes spontaneous pneumothorax or hemopneumothorax people need to consider surgical treatment, such as pulmonary herpetic resection, pulmonary herpetic external drainage. In patients with recurrent pneumothorax, pleural fixation is recommended to minimize the recurrence of spontaneous pneumothorax.
If rupture of pulmonary blisters occurs, it should be seen in the hospital in time to avoid delay.
