What to do if your pacemaker is dislodged

After a pacemaker is dislodged, you need to be admitted to the hospital as soon as possible for a second surgery and receive professional treatment to avoid delaying your condition.
1. For the elderly, the heart rate may be too slow due to various reasons, at this time, you can choose to implant a pacemaker in the body, mainly through the initiation of the heartbeat impulse to maintain a normal heartbeat, mostly used in the treatment of chronic arrhythmia, including pathological sinus node syndrome, atrioventricular conduction block, severe heart failure, and so on.
2. In the process of later use, the pacemaker insulation wire may be broken or fractured due to excessive movement or increased friction block, which needs to be replaced in the hospital.
3. Generally speaking, there will be very little rejection after implantation of the pacemaker, so there is no need for special medication. After being discharged from the hospital, you should have regular checkups and should not perform any drastic movements within three months to prevent the pacemaker from shifting or falling off. It is also important not to collide with hard objects, as this may cause the pacemaker to break and lose its normal function.
If you find that your pacemaker is dislodged or shifted, you should go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
