Sanjin Tablet belongs to Chinese patent medicine, for urinary tract infection, usually after taking 3~5 days will be effective, but need to add antibiotics on the basis of treatment with Sanjin Tablet. Sanjin Tablet has the effects of clearing heat and detoxification (removing heat and poisonous evil from the body), benefiting the kidneys, inducing dampness and clearing the flow of gonorrhea. It is used for symptoms such as gonorrhea and astringent pain caused by urinary tract infections, cystitis, acute and chronic pyelonephritis, short and red urination (small amount of urination, dark yellow color), and urgent and frequent urination. For patients with urinary tract infection, Sanjin Tablets combined with antibiotics (such as Cefaclor) are usually needed, and symptoms will improve after 3-5 medications. The adverse reactions of Sanjin Tablets include mild elevation of serum aspartate aminotransferase, mild elevation of serum alanine aminotransferase, blood urea nitrogen, and mild decrease of blood leukocytes.
