Radix Panax Ginseng tonifies Qi, nourishes Yin, clears heat and generates body fluid; Fructus Lycii nourishes the liver and kidney, benefits the vital essence and brightens the eyes; Fructus Jujubae tonifies the middle Jiao, nourishes the middle Jiao, nourishes Qi (treats Qi deficiency by tonifying the Spleen), nourishes the Blood and calms the mind. The three medicinal herbs in water have the above mentioned effects, but the extraction of the ingredients of the medicinal herbs is limited.
Radix Panax Ginseng tonifies Qi and nourishes Yin, clears heat and generates body fluid. It is used in treating deficiency of qi and yin, deficiency of heat and fatigue, coughing, asthma, phlegm and blood, internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as eating, drinking and urinating), and dry mouth and throat. This product is not suitable for those with weakened middle yang and cold dampness in the stomach, and it should not be used with quinoa.
Chinese wolfberry can nourish the liver and kidney, benefit the essence and brighten the eyes. It can be used for deficiency, soreness of waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus, impotence and spermatorrhea, internal heat and thirst, blood deficiency and yellowing, and dimming of eyes.
Red jujube can tonify the middle and benefit qi, nourish blood and tranquilize the mind. It is used for spleen deficiency with little food, loose stools (thin and unformed feces), women with dirty agitation (upset and depression, sadness and wanting to cry for no reason), dampness and fullness in the middle of the body (dampness is too heavy and leads to fullness and discomfort in the spleen and stomach), or those who have accumulation of stagnation and phlegm heat are not suitable for taking red dates.
