What causes myocardial amyloidosis?

The causes of myocardial amyloidosis are generally considered to be related to immune factors, genetic factors, physical or chemical factors and disease factors.
1. Immune factors: immune system diseases such as tuberculosis, dry syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis can cause malfunctioning of immune cells, resulting in amyloid deposition in tissues and organs, causing amyloidosis and triggering myocardial amyloidosis.
2. Genetic factors: If there is a family myocardial amyloidosis, the patient will also be affected by the genes and lead to an increase in the chances of developing this disease.
3. Physical or chemical factors: increased secretion of bacterial toxins, mucopolysaccharides and plasma globulin by Escherichia coli may cause myocardial dysfunction and induce myocardial amyloidosis.
4. Disease factors: common plasma cell diseases, such as multiple myeloma; tumor diseases, such as malignant tumors of the liver, lungs and kidneys and malignant lymphoma, etc., can also cause myocardial amyloidosis.
If the test result suggests that the patient’s myocardium has amyloidosis, the patient should go to the regular hospital to receive further examination, and according to the examination result, actively seek treatment under the guidance of specialized doctors.
