Men’s testicles on both sides of the size is not exactly the same belong to a common physiological phenomenon, is normal; but if the size difference is very obvious, it may be an abnormal situation.
1. Normal physiological phenomenon: the human body in the absence of systemic diseases. The size of the testicles on both sides is essentially inconsistent, but the difference is not very significant. This is mainly due to the two sides of the testicle blood supply vessels are not the same blood flow. If there is a large difference in the size of the testicles on both sides, or if this is accompanied by other symptoms, it may be abnormal.
In addition, in the state of physiologic development, the sheath of the testicle will have some of these normal syringomyelia. The difference between the two sides of the syringomyelia does not affect the content of small as well as different, can also develop testicular size inconsistency.
2. Pathology: It is not normal when the size of the testicles is very different on both sides. It is possible that there is a pathology on the side of the testicle that is large, such as orchitis, epididymitis, testicular tuberculosis, testicular tumor, syringomyelia, or even enlarged and swollen scrotum caused by hernia. The shrinking side of the testicle may be caused by cryptorchidism, incomplete descent of the testicle, testicular atrophy, varicocele, and so on.
If the difference between the two sides is so great that it is impossible to judge which side is normal and which side has lesions, it is recommended to go to the specialized clinic of regular hospitals to have appropriate examinations and tests, so as to achieve early diagnosis and early treatment.
