The main symptoms can be manifested as sticky nasal mucus, heavy nasal congestion, and swelling of the nasal mucosa. Clinical treatment for enlarged nasal turbinates includes medication, surgery, physical therapy and so on. Patients can take 0.05% hydroxymetazoline, naphazoline hydrochloride and other nasal sprays as prescribed by the doctor for no more than 7 days; they can go to the hospital for microwave, radiofrequency ablation and other physical treatments to improve ventilation; and they can undergo surgical treatments, such as partial turbinate resection, if necessary. If the turbinate enlargement occurs, you should go to the hospital in time, actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment, follow the doctor’s instructions, do not blindly take drugs.
