A visible uterine line is a description given during a gynecologic ultrasound, which is a normal sign that there are no adhesions or accumulation of blood in the uterine cavity. The uterine line is the line between the two layers of the uterine lining, which is normally very clear, and is visible on ultrasound, which is a normal finding. If there are some abnormalities, this result may not appear. 1. Uterine adhesions. If a woman has uterine adhesions, the continuity of the uterine line will be interrupted during the ultrasound examination, which means that the uterine line is not very clear. When there is uterine cavity adhesion, the patient may have a significant decrease in menstrual flow or amenorrhea. 2. Fluid accumulation in the uterine cavity. If there is accumulation of blood in the uterine cavity, or there is inflammatory exudate, etc., it will lead to obvious separation of the two layers of endometrium, and ultrasound examination will describe it as separation of the uterine cavity line.
