The clinical manifestations of degenerative osteoarthropathy are mainly joint pain, limited mobility and joint deformity. The specific manifestations are as follows.
First, during the onset of this type of patients, there will be very obvious pain. At the initial stage, the pain may not be obvious. However, as the wear and tear on the joints increases, the patient may continue to experience severe pain.
Second, the patient will experience significant limitation of movement. For example, the mobility of the onset joint will be reduced, and there may be catching during movement.
Third, this group of patients may develop deformities of the joints. Due to the wear and tear of the bone inside the joint, the patient may experience asymmetry of the joint space.
In the case of severe lesions, the joint space may disappear. This results in deformities of the joint inversion and eversion, and may produce bony fusion.
