Bone injury refers to the disruption of the continuity and integrity of bones as a result of direct external violence to the human skeleton, such as a fall from a height or an accidental traffic accident. The degree of bone injury varies with the intensity of external force, and mainly includes bone contusion, bone fracture, green branch fracture, crack fracture, avulsion fracture, comminuted fracture, etc. Multiple fractures and multiple types of fractures occur at the same time, manifesting as periosteal injury. The main manifestations are local swelling, pain, and impaired movement, localized pressure pain, and bone rubbing sounds when moving. Periosteal injuries, bone fractures, and bruise fractures without displacement are externally fixed by plaster to promote fracture healing. If the fracture end is displaced or a comminuted fracture occurs, surgical treatment is required.
