Biologically targeted therapy is another effective treatment after chemotherapy and endocrine therapy, and is a new milestone in the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. Herceptin, developed by Roche Pharmaceuticals, is a targeted therapy for HER2 targets in breast cancer and has shown efficacy in the treatment of both early and advanced (metastatic) breast cancer. Since 1998, Herceptin has been used to treat more than 600,000 HER2-positive breast cancer patients worldwide, and authoritative treatment guidelines both at home and abroad recommend Herceptin as the basic treatment for HER2-positive breast cancer.
