What’s wrong with the pain of pressing the Qihai point?

Qihai point pressure pain may be related to deficiency, water and grain failure, pain around the umbilicus, as well as localized injuries. There are more specific causes of qihai point pressing pain, and it is recommended to consult a doctor promptly.
Qihai point is located in the lower abdomen, 1.5 inches below the center of the umbilicus and on the anterior midline. Qihai point is effective in warming the spleen and kidneys, inducing diuresis and lymphatic drainage, regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhoea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhoea).
Qihai point is used for treating deficiency, weakness, failure to transform water and grains, pain around the navel, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation, dysuria (unsmooth urination), and enuresis. If any of the above discomforts occur, there may be pain in pressing the Qihai acupoints. If there is localized injury to Qihai points, there may also be pain in pressing on Qihai points.
In case of painful pressure on Qihai points, prompt medical attention is recommended.
