What are the causes of nephrotic syndrome

Nephrotic syndrome is generally categorized into primary nephrotic syndrome and secondary nephrotic syndrome. Primary causes include microscopic lesion nephropathy, thylakoid proliferative glomerulonephritis and so on, while secondary causes include allergic purpura nephritis, hepatitis B virus-associated nephritis and so on. The causes of primary nephrotic syndrome are usually related to the individual’s physical condition, such as focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, membranous capillary glomerulonephritis, microscopic lesion nephropathy, thylakoid proliferative glomerulonephritis and membranous nephropathy, etc. All of these disorders may cause nephrotic syndrome. Secondary Nephrotic Syndrome is not the disease of kidney itself, but the disease of other system organs of the body triggers kidney disease, such as lupus nephritis, diabetic nephropathy, renal amyloidosis, myelomatous nephropathy, anaphylactic purpura nephritis, Hepatitis B Virus associated nephritis, lymphoma or solid tumor nephropathy and other diseases will lead to the patient to develop Nephrotic Syndrome.
