Can astigmatism recover on its own?

Astigmatism does not recover by itself, but needs to be restored to normal by surgical treatment or optical correction. At the same time, it is important to strictly follow medical advice and use your eyes in a healthy way during treatment. Astigmatism is mainly due to the development of the eye, which does not form an absolutely smooth sphere, resulting in small differences in the different meridians of the eye, which in turn causes slightly different refractive power and eventually astigmatism. This is a disease caused by the non-standard shape of the eye and is not likely to recover on its own. If the astigmatism is physiological, it can be left untreated if it does not affect the vision. If the astigmatism is too high and the patient has symptoms such as distorted vision, distortion or visual fatigue, it needs to be corrected by wearing columnar lenses. If you have astigmatism, don’t worry too much, there are many ways to keep your vision normal. It is important to develop good habits and not to touch your eyes easily with your hands to prevent infectious eye diseases. Make sure there is enough light and correct posture when reading.
