What causes a child to shake his head?

Children shaking their heads may be caused by temperature changes, imitating adults, cerumen blockage, vitamin D deficiency and so on.
1. Temperature change: The temperature of the environment where the child is living is too high, the blanket is too thick for sleeping, or the clothes he/she wears are too much, the temperature of his/her body rises, and he/she sweats more, so he/she may shake his/her head if he/she feels uncomfortable.
2. Imitation of adults: children within one year of age can not speak for the time being, they may imitate the movements of adults and express their language by shaking their heads.
3. Cerumen blockage: Children’s cerumen secretion is more vigorous, when the outer ear canal is blocked by cerumen secretion, children will feel stuffy and uncomfortable, and may also shake their heads.
4. Lack of vitamin D: the lack of vitamin D in the child’s body will affect the body’s absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and the lowering of the blood calcium concentration will cause the nervous system to increase excitability, itchy scalp, sweating, irritability and restlessness, and head shaking will also be manifested.
