Symptoms of shoulder adhesions include shoulder pain and limited movement. Shoulder joint adhesion is caused by degeneration of shoulder joint or too long braking time after shoulder joint trauma, which results in adhesion of muscles, ligaments and joint capsule around shoulder joint. The main manifestation is pain around the shoulder joint, especially when rotating the shoulder. Stiffness of the shoulder joint and limitation of activities, which can be manifested as obvious limitation of abduction and external rotation, internal rotation and posterior extension. It is impossible to raise the arm, comb the hair or put on clothes, and active and passive activities are limited. Shoulder joint adhesion can be loosened by massage, manipulation, shoulder joint exercise or small needle loosening.
