What’s with the massive hair loss?

Massive hair loss may be caused by congenital causes, diseases and other factors.
1. Congenital causes: If the structure of the hair shaft is abnormal, such as candida hair, nodular schizophrenia, etc., it may cause massive hair loss.
2.Diseases:
(1) Seborrheic alopecia: i.e. androgenic alopecia, mostly with family history, hair loss starts from both sideburns and frontal hairline backward gradually, occipitotemporal hair is normal.
(2) Patchy baldness, i.e., the appearance of round, round-like or irregularly shaped patchy alopecia areas on the scalp of varying sizes.
(3) In the active stage of systemic lupus erythematosus, short, jagged, characteristic “lupus hair” can be seen at the forehead hairline.
(4) Syphilitic alopecia usually occurs on the top of the head, occipital or temporal area with a worm-eaten appearance.
It is recommended that people with massive hair loss should go to regular hospitals in time to clarify the cause of the disease and carry out standardized treatment under the guidance of doctors, so as not to bring adverse effects to the body due to delayed condition.
