Some patients with solar dermatitis can subside on their own, but if it is relatively severe, the cure includes general treatment, topical medication (tincture of glycerite lotion, etc.), and oral medication (ibuprofen extended-release tablets, etc.).
1. General treatment: patients with solar dermatitis should avoid sun exposure in the near future to avoid secondary damage or infection due to sunburn. Drink plenty of water to avoid loss of body fluids.
2. Topical medication: Glycerine lotion, boric acid water, compound menthol ointment, compound indomethacin tincture and other medications can be applied for relief. If the skin is peeling, after removing the dry skin, hydrocortisone cream can be applied for treatment.
3. Oral medication: If itching occurs in solar dermatitis, chlorpheniramine maleate tablets can be taken orally to treat it. If accompanied by pain symptoms, ibuprofen extended-release tablets should be taken orally to relieve pain.
Patients should consult a doctor in a timely manner, do a systematic examination, and strictly comply with the doctor’s instructions for medication.
