Chenpi soaked in water to increase or decrease fire

It is often used clinically with Atractylodes macrocephala and Atractylodes macrocephala to improve nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, and distension and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen) caused by cold and dampness in the middle jiao, and stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach. It can also be combined with hawthorn and shenqu to treat food stagnation (the accumulation of food in the stomach due to indigestion). It can also be combined with hemixia and poria to improve damp-phlegm coughs. Chenpi should not be used indiscriminately, especially those with internal solid heat should be used with caution, the specific use of the drug must be guided by a doctor.
