What is the postoperative diet for laryngeal cancer

Fasting for 3~14 days after laryngeal cancer surgery, then eating paste food, liquid food and normal diet in turn.
Generally, small laryngeal surgeries with less damage can try to eat after three days of fasting, while relatively larger surgeries require gastric tube insertion, and it is generally recommended that patients start to try to eat after two weeks.
At the beginning, patients usually choose pasty foods to avoid choking and secondary lung infections, such as jam, etc. If the patient does not experience any abnormality, the patient may be able to eat more than one meal.
If the patient does not develop an abnormality, the patient can try to drink water and eat liquid food, and if the patient tries for some time or after a period of training the patient no longer chokes, he or she can start eating normally.
