The liver is the main detachment, the symptoms of liver meridian obstruction are chest tightness and breathlessness, two coercive distension and pain, impatience and irritability, etc. Commonly used in the clinical treatment of liver meridian obstruction of the proprietary Chinese medicines are Su Liver Combination, Longze Xiongguan Capsules and so on.
1. Su Liver Combination, the name of Chinese patent medicine. It is made up of the root of the bird’s-meadow vine. It has the effect of clearing heat and removing toxins, inducing dampness and relieving jaundice. It is used for jaundice with dampness-heat, heat and toxicity of liver meridian. Contraindications are not clear.
2. Longze Xiongbian Capsule, Chinese patent medicine name. It is composed of gentian, salted zedoary, rhubarb, angelica, gardenia, chrysanthemum, salted psyllium, cassia seed, bear bile and so on. It has the effect of clearing heat and dispersing wind, relieving pain and retiring cataract. It is used for eye redness, swelling and pain caused by wind-heat or damp-heat of liver meridian, and shyness, blindness and excessive tears.
It is forbidden for those who are allergic to Su Liver Compound and Longze Bear Bile Capsules, and it is recommended that patients should consult a doctor in time when they have symptoms of impassable liver meridian.
