Laparoscopic surgery is a major breakthrough in the development of surgery. Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery are usually operated on the premise that the procedure can be done laparoscopically and there is no significant difference in the treatment effect with normal traditional open surgery, which has the advantages of less damage, less pain, faster postoperative recovery and more clean and sterile compared to traditional surgery. The indications for the use of laparoscopy should be clearly defined, as some procedures have operational limitations for laparoscopy, which may prevent the procedure from reaching the desired expectations. In contrast, laparoscopy has evolved to the point where most abdominal diseases can be treated laparoscopically or with laparoscopic assistance, resulting in less trauma and more rapid postoperative recovery.
