What is a dry cough with pulmonary nodules?

Patients with lung nodules accompanied by dry cough need further clinical examination, including observing whether the edges of lung nodules are smooth, burr-like or hairy glass-like, as well as screening by tumor markers to determine the possibility of lung cancer. If there is a possibility of lung cancer, puncture should be performed as soon as possible to clarify the nature of malignant tumor, so that targeted surgical resection, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biological therapy can be performed to make the condition better and lung cancer can be cured at an early stage. Dry cough can be caused by many clinical reasons, and it may not be related to lung nodules. Simple upper respiratory tract infections, such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis, and mycoplasma pneumonia can also cause dry cough. In clinical practice, a comprehensive examination should be conducted to make a clear judgment, and appropriate medication should be selected for symptomatic treatment.
