What’s wrong with your tongue?

Blue tongue can be caused by dietary factors, physical stimulation, hemangioma, chronic hypoxia, tongue cancer and so on.
1. Dietary factors: taking food containing dark blue or green coloring will cause local coloring to adhere to the tongue, resulting in blue tongue.
2. Physical stimulation: for example, the tongue is bitten or stimulated by external force, as well as burns, taking too hard food, excessive friction and so on, which may also lead to blue tongue.
3. Hemangioma: It is a tumor disease of the endothelial cells of the blood vessels on the tongue, which can also lead to local symptoms such as blue color and bulging.
4. Chronic hypoxia: Suffering from coronary heart disease, pulmonary heart disease, severe anemia and other diseases, when caused by chronic hypoxia can also lead to blue tongue.
5. Tongue cancer: malignant tumors such as tongue cancer may also cause blue tongue.
There may be other reasons for the blue tongue, so you need to go to the hospital for examination first to clarify the cause of the disease.
