Pain under the chin generally has the following common clinical causes: i. Inadvertent contusion of the soft tissues under the chin can cause significant local swelling and pain. Patients can apply local ice to reduce tissue exudation and relieve painful symptoms. If accompanied by the formation of local hematoma, ultrasound examination needs to be improved to clarify the size and location of the hematoma. If the hematoma is found to be progressively increasing, surgery can be considered to remove the hematoma and complete hemostasis of the trauma. If the hematoma is found to be progressively increasing, surgery can be considered to remove the hematoma and completely stop the bleeding of the wound. If the skin of the soft tissue under the chin breaks down, bacteria can enter the subcutaneous space along the tissue fissure and cause acute purulent infection if disinfection is not performed in time. This can be manifested as obvious swelling and pain, elevated skin temperature, and can be treated by strengthening anti-infection support to reduce the patient’s pain symptoms.
