Blood stasis in Chinese medicine should be referred to as blood stasis, which is mostly characterized by pain, lumps, bleeding, and stasis-colored pulse signs. It can also be seen: sallow face, blue and purple lips and nails, skin nail error (rough and dry skin, like the appearance of dry fish scales and nails intertwined), the skin is silky red strands, subcutaneous purple spots, abdominal exposure to the blue tendons, purple tongue, purple, purple spots, tongue under the veins varicose, astringent veins, or knots, generation, and so on. According to the different parts of the stagnant blood, it can be clinically classified as Cardiac Vessel Paralysis and Obstruction, Stasis and Obstruction of Cerebral Collaterals, Gastrointestinal Blood Stasis, Liver Meridian Blood Stasis, Stasis and Obstruction of the Uterus, Stasis and Obstruction of the Chest and Diaphragm, and Stasis and Obstruction of Blood in the Lower Jiao.
