What to do about back acne

Back acne is considered to be related to acne, folliculitis and other diseases, it is recommended to choose general treatment, medication and other ways to deal with.
1. Acne: Acne may cause back acne, patients should not scratch, squeeze the affected area, can follow the doctor’s instructions for external use of retinoic acid cream, tazarotene gel, fusidic acid cream, benzoyl peroxide and other drugs, in order to promote the lesions to subside. Patients with moderate to severe acne can also take oral doxycycline, minocycline, isotretinoin and other drugs as prescribed by the doctor.
2. Folliculitis: Back acne can also be caused by folliculitis, patients should wear loose, soft clothing to reduce local friction. For bacterial infections caused by folliculitis, patients can apply mupirocin, clindamycin and other antibiotics to help reduce inflammation. For folliculitis caused by Malassezia, it is recommended to apply antifungal drugs such as econazole and ketoconazole.
