What to do if you have just given birth to a bloated stomach

Bloating after giving birth is mostly caused by the use of anesthesia during cesarean section, or the use of labor analgesia during normal delivery, etc., which leads to the inhibition of gastrointestinal peristalsis, and can usually be relieved by general treatment or medication.
1. General treatment: After delivery, if your physical condition permits, you can start turning over in bed or simple bedside exercises as soon as possible to promote blood circulation, help the stomach and intestines resume peristalsis, expel excess gas and relieve bloating. You can also eat warm water, soups and other liquid food to stimulate gastrointestinal peristalsis and relieve bloating.
2. Medication: patients can use dimethylsilicone oil, metoclopramide and other drugs under the guidance of the doctor to promote gastrointestinal peristalsis and promote exhaust.
Bloating after giving birth is usually a common phenomenon. If the cause of bloating is not yet clear, or persistently unrelieved, etc., it is recommended to inform the doctor for relevant treatment.
