What is vaginal bulge?

Most vaginal bulges are associated with injuries from pregnancy and childbirth that result in bulging of the vaginal mucosa or bulging from performing prolonged heavy physical activity. In mild cases of vaginal wall bulge, women can improve the bulging mucosa by doing pelvic floor rehabilitation or vaginal dumbbell exercises. If this is not possible, the bulging mucosa can be surgically removed if necessary. Vaginal bulge is divided into anterior vaginal bulge and posterior vaginal bulge. When a woman exposes her vulva and exerts herself, she will find bulging mucosal tissue at the vaginal opening. Therefore, when a woman has vaginal bulge, she should be treated promptly.
