Precautions after hip reset

After the hip joint is reset, proper braking must be paid attention to. After the hip joint is reset by manipulation or surgery, the damage of the joint capsule will not be healed for at least 4-6 weeks. During this period, the hip joint should not be moved freely, especially not weight-bearing exercise. After the joint has been repositioned, skin traction or anti-rotation shoes should be used to keep the hip joint in a firm and stable position, usually for 4-6 weeks. Only when the damaged joint capsule is fully recovered can the recurrence of hip dislocation be avoided, so after the hip joint is reset, it must be strictly braked to prevent the joint capsule from not healing in time.
