Language disorders in two-year-olds can be characterized by unclear articulation, incoherent speech, and abnormal tone of voice.
Children’s language development has a certain pattern, if the child’s language development lags behind that of children of the same age and gender, parents need to pay more attention to their baby’s language development, consult a doctor for help, and do their best to create a good language learning environment for their babies.
Generally, one-year-old children can pronounce single sounds or superimposed sounds, one-and-a-half-year-old children can speak simple words, and two-year-old children enter the language explosion period, and can already speak more sentences. Children over two years old have made great progress in language expression, comprehension and communication skills.
1. Language expression ability: A two-year-old with good expression ability can express his/her will fluently and may speak sentences up to 10 words in length;
2. Language comprehension: two-year-old babies are able to understand more complex instructions, such as finding different book titles;
3. language communication ability: babies over two years old are willing to communicate with other people and imitate their gestures and movements.
If a two-year-old child shows signs of ill-constructed sounds, incoherent utterances and abnormal voice intonation, he or she may be deficient in language expression, comprehension and communication skills, and is considered to be suffering from delayed language development. He or she needs to seek medical attention as soon as possible to clarify the cause and carry out targeted treatment.
