Why Hysteroscopy

Hysteroscopy is performed for two main purposes: first, an investigative role; and second, a therapeutic role. Hysteroscopy is best when women are suspected of having endometrial lesions, such as abnormal proliferation of endometrium, endometrial cancer or endometrial polyp disease, endometrial adhesions or injuries, or IUD gland. Hysteroscopy can directly enter the uterine cavity of the patient to observe the morphology of the entire uterine cavity, the condition of the endometrium and whether there are organic lesions, and if there is a problem, pathological examination and diagnostic scraping can be done at the suspected lesion site in time, which is very meaningful and less invasive for diagnosing endometrial lesions. For minor endometrial lesions, such as polyps and submucosal fibroids, endometrial adhesions, etc., hysteroscopic surgery is the best choice, with short operation time, little damage to the patient’s body, and very good surgical results.
