What foods can you eat if you have liver qi stagnation

Liver qi stagnation can eat mint, Buddha’s hand and other medicinal substances. Peppermint is a pungent and aromatic herb that enters the liver meridian and is able to organize the liver qi and ease stagnation. It is often used in cases of liver qi stagnation, such as distension and pain in the chest and abdomen, irregular menstruation, and breast distension and pain. Mentha piperita leaves are good for sweating and relieving symptoms, while Mentha piperita stalks are good for promoting circulation of Qi and harmonizing the middle. It is not recommended for people with excessive sweating. Buddha’s hand is pungent, warm and aromatic, and enters the liver and spleen meridians. It is suitable for treating distention and fullness in both hypochondriacs due to stagnation of liver qi, or stagnation of liver and stomach qi, and also relieving stomachache and cough with excessive phlegm due to stagnation of qi. Note that it should be used with caution in cases of yin deficiency with heat and qi deficiency without stagnation. The above medicines can be drunk as tea or added to meals as condiments to relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of patients with liver-qi stagnation. However, the medicinal components of dietary therapy are limited, and patients with liver-qi stagnation should standardize their treatment under the guidance of physician’s diagnosis and follow the doctor’s instructions.
