The causes of double vision are mainly seen in the following cases: 1. In strabismus patients, the retinal imaging of both eyes is inconsistent due to the uncoordinated extraocular muscles of both eyes, resulting in the brain being unable to fuse the images of the two eyes into a clear image, thus causing the symptoms of double vision. After paralysis, there will be upward and inward rotation of the eye and ptosis, which will cause double vision, and early conservative treatment with drugs, mainly nerve-nourishing drugs and vitamin B. If the effect is not good, it can be treated with physiotherapy or acupuncture. If the tumor is restricted in eye movement due to tumor compression, conservative treatment or surgical treatment should be taken according to the size, location and nature of the tumor, and radiotherapy should be combined if necessary; 4. If serious orbital wall fracture causes muscle impaction and restriction of eye rotation leading to double vision, orbitoplasty should be done to release muscle impaction if necessary.
