Tegretol aspirin difference

Tegretol and aspirin are both platelet aggregation inhibitors, but the difference lies in the fact that they have different targets in the process of platelet aggregation inhibition. Tegretol mainly inhibits platelet adenosine diphosphate receptors, which inhibits the release of adenosine diphosphate from platelets, thus inhibiting platelet aggregation. The action of aspirin is to inhibit platelet aggregation by inhibiting platelet cyclooxygenase 1, thereby inhibiting thromboxane a2 production.
