WPW syndrome type b without tachycardia episodes mainly depends on the risk stratification to decide whether radiofrequency ablation or not, accompanied by and obvious symptoms are usually treated with drugs or surgery. 1. With cis-type atrioventricular tachycardia: stimulation of the vagus nerve, if ineffective, preferred drugs verapamil or adenosine IV, or propafenone. 2. With atrial flutter and fibrillation: if there is hypotension or syncope, immediate electrical resuscitation; drugs such as amiodarone or propafenone can be chosen to prolong the atrioventricular refractory period; however, digitalis, verapamil, lidocaine and so on are forbidden, which may induce ventricular fibrillation and lead to death. 3. Radiofrequency ablation: it can cure WPW syndrome, especially for those with atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter, it should be carried out as early as possible. For those who are not eligible for radiofrequency ablation for the time being, Verapamil and Propafenone can be used to prevent the recurrence of tachycardia. If the diagnosis of WPW syndrome type b is confirmed, one should seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and choose the most appropriate treatment under the guidance of specialized physicians.
