How to recover from two thirds of a tendon rupture

A two-thirds tendon rupture can be treated conservatively or surgically to achieve recovery. A two-thirds tendon rupture is not a complete rupture, so it can be treated surgically or conservatively. In most cases, a good recovery can be achieved. If it is a closed injury or the damage is not too serious, conservative treatment can be used. Mainly, plaster immobilization restricts the activity for 6~8 weeks time and achieves the purpose of repair through the adhesion of the surrounding soft tissues. In the case of open injuries and partial rupture of functionally important tendons (e.g. Achilles tendon, important tendons in the hand), surgical treatment can be used to speed up the recovery. The main form of surgical treatment is tendon repair.
