How long before you can’t eat the breastmilk when it’s sucked out

After breastmilk is pumped out, it can be left at room temperature for 2-3 hours. In the refrigerator, it can usually be left for a day or so, but overnight is not recommended. Frozen breastmilk can be kept for about three months. It is recommended that you let your baby eat breastmilk as soon as possible after it has been pumped out. If you have a large amount or don’t have time to let your child eat it, it is recommended that you put it in the refrigerator as long as it is predicted to last more than two hours. When you want your child to eat, take it out and warm it up before feeding. Breastmilk placed in the refrigerator must have a special container and a special area, do not mix with other foods, to avoid causing bacterial infection. Breastfeeding mothers are advised to eat less cold, spicy and stimulating food, and less greasy food to avoid affecting the quality of milk or the formation of mastitis.
