What to do about permanent impotence

Permanent impotence can be achieved using a penile prosthesis. A penile prosthesis is generally divided into 3 parts, a fluid storage sac, a valve and pump, and the column which is filled with water for erection. The surgery starts by removing the patient’s original penile corpus cavernosum and replacing it with an artificial column, while the valve and pump are usually placed under the skin of the scrotum so that the valve can be operated outside of the body, and the fluid reservoir sac can be placed in the pelvis. When there is a need for sexual intercourse, the valve under the skin of the scrotum is opened, and the fluid in the reservoir bladder enters the column implanted in the penis, and the penis becomes erect, which is the same principle as that of an erection with blood filling of the corpus cavernosum of the penis. At the end of sexual intercourse, the valve is closed and the pump pumps the fluid from the column back into the reservoir and the penis weakens. Penile prosthesis implantation is now very mature, will not affect the penis and glans sensation, and thus will not affect sexual pleasure, and has no effect on normal ejaculation; should go to the regular hospital for treatment, and postoperative discomfort, should be timely consultation, active treatment, so as not to cause danger.
