Patients with duodenitis and pain are advised to take acid-suppressing drugs, such as omeprazole, lansoprazole, esomeprazole, etc., and also pantoprazole. The most common cause of duodenitis with secondary pain is due to duodenal ulcers and pain caused by inflammation of the duodenum, so it is better to take acid-suppressing drugs and to do duodenoscopy and gastroscopy to rule out the possibility of duodenal tumors, as well as pancreatitis, which need to be investigated regularly. If the pain is caused by duodenal tumor, it is recommended to improve the relevant examination and give standardized anti-tumor treatment after clear diagnosis to prevent delaying the disease.
