Chronic nephritis exercise should be noted

  Patients with chronic nephritis, at the beginning of the disease, regardless of whether the disease is mild or severe, should pay attention to rest, if the disease has improved, let’s say the edema has subsided, blood pressure is back to normal, or close to normal, the protein in the urine red blood cells and a variety of tubular type is rare or disappeared, kidney function is stable or normal, after about three months, you can start to engage in light work. The amount of activity should be increased slowly and gradually, not too much at once, so as to promote the recovery of physical strength and help the kidneys to improve. If there is a large amount of proteinuria and hematuria, and edema is obvious, or hypertension, or progressive decline in kidney function, patients should rest in bed and do not engage in any form of physical exercise.  The timing of exercise should be done after a meal, which is mainly two hours after eating. Exercise should not be done immediately after eating a full meal.  The best place to exercise is outdoors. Of course when the weather is too hot, you should also stop exercising. Because when it is too hot, it will sweat more, which will easily cause dehydration and thus worsen kidney function. If the weather is too cold, it will be easy to catch cold and flu, which will also make the kidney function affected. When it is foggy and windy and snowy, you should also stop exercising, or switch to indoor.  The amount of exercise should be moderate, and after each exercise, there should not be fatigue, nor should it affect appetite and sleep.
