Glucose tolerance and urine test do not need to be separated into two days. Glucose tolerance is an oral glucose tolerance test, which is mainly used to diagnose diabetes. Under normal circumstances, the glucose tolerance test and urine test can be done at the same time without splitting two days. Urine samples are taken in a fasting state and sent for testing, and then the glucose tolerance test is started, with venous blood drawn half an hour, one hour, two hours and three hours after fasting and drinking 75g of glucose water respectively. It should be noted that if you drink glucose water first, and then leave a urine sample, it may affect the results of the urine test, resulting in inaccurate urine test. If you get the test process wrong and drink glucose water first, a urine test is not recommended that morning. Glucose tolerance test and urine test should be checked under doctor’s supervision.
