There are several types of labia in women

There are two types of labia in women, including labia majora and labia minora. They are part of the female external genitalia.
1. Labia majora: is located on both sides of the female pubic cleft a pair of uniform rounded bulge, skin folds with elasticity, soft and rich, containing oil-producing glands and hair follicle glands. Because the skin contains rich venous plexus, lymphatic vessels, nerves and glands, so it is easy to form hematoma after injury and accompanied by severe pain.
2. Labia minora: a pair of longitudinal folds of skin and mucous membrane, the urethral and vaginal orifices adjacent to its protective role. The surface is smooth and elastic. The labia minora are closed in unmarried and married women who have not given birth and play a role in protecting the vagina and internal genitalia.
