  Candida albicans is a fungus that is usually found in the mouth, upper respiratory tract, intestines and vagina of normal people. It is usually found in small numbers in the normal organism and does not cause disease. When the immune function or general defense of the body decreases or the normal flora becomes dysfunctional, Candida albicans will multiply and change its growth form to invade cells and cause disease.
