Laparoscopic high spermatic vein ligation is usually performed with one incision in the umbilicus and one on each side of the left and right sides of the lower abdomen. Patients with varicocele need to have their spermatic veins ligated in a high position during surgery. When performing laparoscopic surgery, a small incision of about 1cm is usually made below the umbilicus to inflate the pneumoperitoneum before placing the laparoscope, which can then be used to avoid damaging the intestinal tube under the supervision of laparoscopy, and a small incision of 0.5~1cm is made on each side of the left and right sides of the lower abdomen to be used for placing the operating sheath card. Alternatively, there is now single-port laparoscopic surgery, which usually involves making an incision directly in the umbilicus. Regardless of the type of laparoscopic surgery, it is necessary to avoid damaging the intestinal canal during surgical separation.
