Drugs for trauma

When a traumatic injury occurs, exactly how you need to go about administering medication depends on the type and severity of the trauma. If the trauma is a local soft tissue injury with bruising and swelling, rest and braking is recommended. Within 24 hours after the injury, cold compresses can be applied, after which hot compresses can be considered, and topical spraying of Yunnan Baiyao can be used. For obvious swelling, consider controlling edema with dehydrating medications, such as the use of mannitol or hesperidin. In case of trauma resulting in skin breakage, local disinfection medication should be selected, such as disinfection with iodophor, and in case of infection, erythromycin cream should be applied topically. For patients with significant pain, diclofenac can be taken orally for pain relief.
