How to do surgery for common bile duct stones

There are more types of choledochal stone surgeries, such as choledochotomy and lithotripsy and bilioenteric anastomosis. The surgical steps for different surgeries are different and need to be looked at specifically: 1. Choledochotomy and lithotripsy: firstly, 3-4 incisions with a diameter of 0.5-1 cm are made around the navel; then laparoscopic instruments are inserted to find the common bile duct in the hepatoduodenal ligament and the common bile duct is cut open to explore the duct with choledochoscopes and take out the common bile duct stones; after the stones are taken out, the T-tube drainage as well as abdominal drainage tubes are put in place. 2. Bile-intestinal anastomosis: patients need to take the supine position, make an incision in the abdomen, enter the abdominal cavity to confirm the biliary lesions and reveal the common bile duct area in the porta hepatis; incise the bile duct to deal with the bile duct lesions, incise the duodenal hepatic ligament to determine the common bile duct; resect the gallbladder, incise the common bile duct and cut off the distal end of jejunum about 15cm from the duodenojejunostomy area; carry out a side anastomosis on the proximal jejunum at a point 55cm away from the jejunostomy collaterals. Finally, check for bleeding, place a drain, and close the abdominal cavity. Choledochal stones are a clear indication for surgery. If you suffer from choledochal stones, it is recommended that you seek medical attention as soon as possible for active treatment.
