Effects of Chai Hu Gui Zhi Gan Jiang Tang combined with Pain and Drainage Essentials Formula

Decoct with water and take in three times. It is used in treating typhoid fever (illness caused by fever due to feeling cold) for five or six days, with fullness and slight knotting in the chest and hypochondrium (the chest and ribs) after sweating down, urinary incontinence, thirst without vomiting, but sweating in the head, and exchanging chills and fever: upsetting. It is also used in treating malaria with a lot of cold and slight heat, or with heat but no cold. The combination of the two prescriptions must be carried out under the guidance of a specialized physician, and should not be taken on its own to avoid delaying the condition.
