What’s with the back pain from breathing?

If the pain in the back occurs with breathing, it is likely to be caused by pleurisy or inflammation in the lungs. In addition, costochondritis of the ribs may cause pain and discomfort with breathing, and a CT scan of the lungs is needed to clarify this. If the inflammation is in the lungs, anti-inflammatory treatment is needed. Symptomatic treatment such as pain relief is given for costochondritis or pleurisy. Generally most of them can be relieved. In about 1-2 weeks, the symptoms will be significantly reduced without sequelae.
