Food has no effect on removing dampness-heat, so it is recommended to use medicines with the effect of removing dampness-heat, such as Longdian Diarrhea Liver Pill and Ganluo Sterilizing Dan. Longdian Diarrhea Liver Pill is used for dizziness and red eyes (dizziness and red eyes), tinnitus and deafness caused by damp-heat of liver and gallbladder (damp-heat evils accumulating in the liver and gallbladder), darting pain and bitterness of mouth (pain in the area of darting and ribs and bitterness of the mouth), redness in the urine, and wet-heat leucorrhoea. It should not be taken for a long time by those with weak spleen and stomach, and should be used with caution by pregnant women and those with stomach cold. Ganlu Sterilizing Dan is used for treating dampness-warmth (warmth disease caused by feeling dampness-heat) epidemic, evil in the qi portion, and dampness-heat syndromes. Symptoms include fever and lethargy, chest tightness and abdominal distension, sore limbs and throat, yellowing of the body and eyes, swollen cheeks and thirst, short and red urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow color), diarrhea and gonorrhea. If damp-heat enters the camp, delirium with red tongue, this formula is not suitable. If medication is needed, it should be diagnosed by a doctor and the treatment should be standardized according to the doctor’s prescription.
